Our books are designed to help teachers to implement the PNG curriculum. For that reason, we work closely with curriculum officers in Waigani, reviewing manuscripts and page proofs before publication.
Bilum Books are approved and endorsed by the PNG Department of Education. We acknowledge and thank the officers in the Curriculum Development Division and the Measurement Services Division of the National Department of Education in Port Moresby, who support our efforts to publish resource books for teachers and students in Papua New Guinea.
As we travel around Papua New Guinea, our priority is always to meet with Provincial Division of Education officers to discuss curriculum and teacher needs in addition to reviewing books in development.
We acknowledge and thank all the teachers in schools throughout Papua New Guinea who generously give their time to review manuscripts and early drafts of our books. Their opinions and advice enable us to improve early drafts based on their practical suggestions and classroom experience.
