This book is the first in a new series of self-help or self-study Study Guides.
The purpose of this book is to clearly explain basic topics in English grammar usage and comprehension for Grades 7 & 8. It will give students a solid foundation for the study of English at Grades 9, 10, 11 & 12.
There are four sections:
Part 1: Verbs
Part 2: Grammar and Usage
Part 3: Research Tools
Part 4: Comprehension
The Book is intended for any student keen to succeed in high school and secondary school. Students can choose to work through the book from beginning to end or choose specific topics where help and practice are needed.
The book is also for any teacher keen to support their classroom teaching with a book that gives revision summaries and exam-style questions for students to practise. SBC Benchmarks are also given as a helpful reference.
